Rail Europe has released its first e-brochure that includes newly created 4, 7, and 15-day itineraries for UK and European rail adventures.

The resource, designed for travel advisors, includes themes like history, art, culture, gastronomy, scenery and outdoor activities.

Destinations span the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Scandinavia, among other countries, with itineraries offering a mix of popular spots and charming, lesser-known locales, encouraging exploration beyond major cities.

Advisors can download the e-brochure from Rail Europe’s closed Facebook page, where they must join to access it.

Rail Europe told Karryon the resource has already been well-received.

The e-brochure is part of a broader campaign for Rail Europe, following the rollout of its digital map in February and the ongoing ‘Dream Journey’ competition, which ends on Sunday, 16 June.

Advisors can enter the competition for a chance to win a European rail journey by submitting their entries to ltan.consulting@raileurope.com or via the closed Facebook page.

Offering routes from over 200 rail providers in 70 countries, Rail Europe says it continues to invest in technology and tools to promote rail travel and provide valuable information to users and partners.

“In response to the many travel advisors seeking fresh inspiration to help their clients, we hope this comprehensive e-brochure will provide them with a solid base from which they can further develop, tailor and refine their itineraries,” Rail Europe Asia-Pacific General Manager Rich Leonard says.

To mark the launch, Rail Europe and VisitBritain co-hosted an intimate event at Sydney’s British Consulate-General on Wednesday night.

Earlier this year, Rail Europe launched a new campaign for the Australian and New Zealand travel trade aimed at getting more holidaymakers onto trains while giving travel agents the chance to win their “dream rail journey”.

Last month, the company appointed Sandy Battle to the newly created role of Sales Development Manager for the Asia-Pacific region, bringing more than 27 years’ sales and partnership experience across touring, product and retail sales.
